Borchard Lines has achieved average 97% schedule reliability during 2024.
In the period 1st October to 31st December 2024, Borchard Lines’ schedule reliability has remained at its highest levels, averaging 100% on time. This is in comparison to a global industry average of around 52%, according to Sea-Intelligence.
Weather and port strikes remain the biggest challenge facing the line’s schedules. Co-operation between the Ports, Ships and Offices ensure a service that is second to none. The ships are small – this is always seen as a negative in a world of ever larger ships. Costs do increase currently due to regulation. However, frequency and consistency can also be seen to be important too.
